Design Projects
I have experience using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Canva and other design software. As editor-in-chief of The Beacon student-run newspaper, I layed out and edited 24 pages of content weekly using InDesign. I also made graphics and advertisements using Canva. Below are two issues of The Beacon and other design projects created for COM 262: Design Storytelling & Design using primarily Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
The Beacon - Issue 3 & Issue 20
These are two of the 13 full-length print issues produced during my time as editor-in-chief in the 2024–25 school year. From a design perspective, for Issue 3, I laid out the cover and opinion section using InDesign, created graphics for opinion pieces, designed Beacon advertisements for the back cover using Canva, and edited all other sections. For Issue 20, I handled the layout of the news and opinion sections, as well as pages 19–21 of the sports section, while also editing the remaining content.

Final Design Project & Standalone Photo
This is a poster advertisement for Badlands National Park that highlights its scenery and wildlife using my original photos. Beneath it is a corresponding standalone photo that captures the essence and intended message of the design. I edited the photos in Photoshop and curated the design in Adobe InDesign.
