As a news intern at WVIA, I wrote local community news articles for the WVIA website and wrote, recorded, and edited corresponding audio stories that aired on WVIA-FM, using Adobe Audition for post-production. The Beacon
I was editor-in-chief of Wilkes University's collegiate newspaper, The Beacon. I joined The Beacon in the fall of 2021 as an opinion staff writer. I was promoted to assistant opinion editor, then to opinion editor, and then to editor-in-chief. Over four years as a staff member of The Beacon, I have written dozens of articles, including political news articles and opinion pieces.
